One watercolour painting depicitng the Braddish Billings house on the Rideau River and built November 1812. The white house in the center of the painting is surrounded by trees and by a river. There is a blue sky with puffy white clouds in the top section of the painting. On the lawn infront of the house are two logs and a well. The painting is displayed in a thin brown wooden frame with a white mat.

"Part of an old house left after the other part had been carried away by flood about 1880. The house, made of logs, was built by Braddish Billings on his arrival at this point of the Rideau River in November 1812, and started the settlement of Billings Bridge."
