Painting, Watercolor: Lacrosse Game at Aylmer, Quebec
Entry/Object ID
P3297
Description
One pencil sketch that has been painted with watercolors of lush trees and bushes in the background and a playing field in the foreground, in the background is also a building with many steps leading to it and also a path, maybe for horses. This building has a flag on the roof and many trees around it. Other buildings in the background appear to be in a town. In the open field in the foreground boys or men are playing lacrosse (12 men). Their lacrosse sticks seem to be out of proportion to what they should be. The painting is displayed in a beige colored wooden frame with a beaded bright silver colored inner frame.
