Description
One daguerreotype photograph depicting Mayor Joseph Balsora Turgeon, he is sitting in a chair with his body turned partially to the right, his left arm is resting on the arm of the chair and his right hand is on his chest, partially inside his vest. He is wearing a grey suit, a grey vest over a white collared shirt, and a black silk bowtie. He has long dark hair that is parted to the left, a chin strap beard, and a mustache. In the background is draped dark colored fabric. The photograph is displayed in a brown leather case lined with faded pink silk.
