The photograph has a painted in background of a two story building with a wrap around porch. The building belongs to the 43rd Duke of Cornwall's own Rifles. The building is surrounded by trees and on the right side of the image a man is holding two horses. The photograph is displayed in a dark brown plain wooden frame with a gold inner trim and is set inside a large border of dark grey mat and a thinner border of a lighter grey mat.
