One picture postcard depicting a color lithograph image of a clown (originally done in watercolor) wearing a hobo outfit: tattered pants with a big patch on the knee and tied at the ankles, striped shirt, dark waistcoat, brown strap belt with a can attached at the back, and a straw colored hat with brim and black and white striped ribbon tied in a bow. The clown has an anchor tattoo on his right forearm with the letters "M S B". He has a scruffy full beard and reddish nose. He is holding a golf club (driver) and is preparing to hit a ball. His grin reveals only one tooth. The image is printed on a white background. The postcard is displayed in a flat wooden frame painted aquamarine with raised plaster scroll decoration around the edges. Two raised plaster bulldog decorations are located on either side of the frame, and there is raised gold lettering centered at the bottom of the frame below the image.
