Description
One tinted stone lithograph by Edwin Whitefield depicting the newly named City of Ottawa. The view is taken from Barrack Hill and looks out over Lower Town. Col Coffin's House is close to the center of the image, the Ottawa Locks and the Commissariat Building are partially visible. There are three figures on Barrack Hill in the foreground, two are sitting on the ground and one is standing looking out over the locks.
