One large proclamation poster by Queen Victoria announcing the unification of the provinces of Canada- Nova Scotia and New Brunswick- into one Dominion under the name of Canada. "By the Queen! // A Proclamation // For Uniting the Provinces of Canada, Nova // Scotia, and New Brunswick, into one // Dominion. Under the name of Canada." is the heading. It is then followed by the proclamation wording and is signed. The date is 22nd May 1867. The poster is displayed in black wooden frame with a gold colored inner border and mounted on a light grey mat with a thin dark grey inner border.
