Description

One head and shoulders bust of Lieutenant-Colonel John By in uniform, made of dark grey material (probably wax) which is painted white. Bust is mounted on black wood base and sits on a conical shaped plaster base. The base is the mold that was made from the original bust. It is made up of four sections and held by wire. There are strips of ferrous metal shaped to the mold inserted between the four sections.
