Description

One small hand-painted china plate with scalloped edges painted in gold trim. There are small patterned bumps around the entire edge of the plate. The face of the plate is painted with purple flowers and green leaves. Underneath is white. The maker Isabelle Maude Edey signed the underneath with "I.M.E", and the maker of the plate's makers mark is also signed "D& C / France." The donor adhered a small white label to the underside of the dish and wrote on it in black ink "Armstrong / painted by I.M.E / Isobel Maude Edey."
