One dark colored horn snuff box with silver hinged lid, the horn is heavily carved with a diamond and floral design, the narrow end has a cone-shaped knob, inside the lid is lined with a think piece of leather, which is attached with four pieces of brass, that were then covered with red wax. The top of the lid is engraved with "TO // DR. CHRISTIE // FROM HIS SINCERE FRIEND // J.D. GELLIE.".
