Stereoscopic Photograph, Albumen: Parliament West BlockEntry/Object ID
P1593Description
One albumen stereoscopic photograph mounted on light blue cardboard, sepia images depict the west wing departmental buildings on parliament hill, workers performing construction tasks in the foreground, with a simple wooden lean-to nearby. They appear to be building the stone wall that surrounds Parliament Hill. Wellington Street is nothing more than a dirt road. Rows of saplings near the building are in protective cages.
