Description

[a]: Two wide-grooved iron pulleys within a wooden frame. The frame is made of three oval shaped pieces of light colored wood screwed together to form two compartments for the pulleys; passing through holes in center of the frame sides is a bolt on which both pulleys revolve. A strap of iron protrudes through top of frame in a loop, and it's overlapped by another arching strap of iron. It's through these straps that the eye of the hook is linked. The hook is rounded in cross-section, "j-shaped" and turns outward slightly at the tapered point. The eye is angled obliquely from hook. [b]: One doubled piece of rope hangs down from pulleys.
