One rectangular wooden trunk, covered in hide with iron studs and hardware. The hide still has some of the fur but much of the fur has worn off. There is a large tear in the hide on the top of the trunk. The inside of the trunk was lined with paper printed with religious tracts. The paper is damaged and is missing from the inside of the lid as well as other sections inside the trunk. Attached to the inside of the trunk are two thin straps for propping the lid open.
