Aerial photograph of the First Winter Carnival held on the eastern shore of Hosmer's Pond in Feb. 1936. The photo shows vehicles parked on the ice with the plowed hockey rink in the center and tracks around it for cross-country ski races and horse races. The Carnival was so successful that the Camden Outing Club was formed and in September 1936 contruction of the Snow Bowl Lodge began at the foot of Ragged Mountain.Photograph Details
