Pewter whale oil lamp. The lamp has a around base with a raised center supporting a tall stem. The stem supports a tulip shaped reservoir having a screw on top. The screw on top has two burners pointing outwards. The tulip-shaped reservoir is where the whale oil would be and the cover with two tubes (burners) would have wicks which would be producing a flame to light-up the environment. The lamp has no wick but has the two tubes (burners) where the wick would be threaded. We believe this lamp is from the mid 1800s
