Fleet Finches Landing at a Snowy EFTSDescription
A overhead perspective of 3 Fleet Fawns landing on to a EFTS airbase.Context
This is a drawing of a Fleet Finch 4518 coming in for a landing at a EFTS location. 4518 flew both at No.7 EFTS in Windsor, and No.11 EFTS in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec. 4518 notably suffered 13 accidents from January 1941 to September 1943, until it was taken out of service in October 1944. 4518 flew at No.7 from 1941 to mid 1942.
This version of the print has the Finches with their typical landing gears. Because of the aircraft's history, the French artist, and the snowy airfield, it may still be more likely that this is a picture of No. 11 EFTS.Collection
