This is a drawing of a Fleet Finch 4518 coming in for a landing at a EFTS location. 4518 flew both at No.7 EFTS in Windsor, and No.11 EFTS in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec. 4518 notably suffered 13 accidents from January 1941 to September 1943, until it was taken out of service in October 1944. 4518 flew at No.7 from 1941 to mid 1942.
Because this photo shows the Finches on ski skids (which may have never actually happened), a particularly snowy airfield, and the fact that the artist's name is French, it is perhaps more likely that this is a photo of No.11 EFTS. There is notably a version of this print without the ski skids.Collection
