Description

Major Wes Bridgen was a navigator 1966 trained on an Argus at Trenton Ontario for 12-13 years, then on to Summerside Prince Edward Island where he was injured in a crash He moved to Windsor Ontario, was a teacher of Computer Sciences at St.Clair College He was the secretary for CH2A In Trenton there was a Wes Bridgen room in the Reynolds Museum which no longer exists He died 09 February 2003. Colin and Pauline Stanton started developing the archives in December 2005 but for many years prior starting about 2000 they started collecting archive material with the goal of eventually creating an archive to diplsy and preserve the artifacts and personal stories of local Windsor residents who saw military sevice. All artifacts in the archives have been received via personal donations and have been recorded to preserve their origins and the stories they tell.
