Description

A medium-sized photographic print, with a white border. The image is of seated and standing women, at the 1972 Twenty-First Annual Convention of the Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America (Tulsa, Oklahoma). Description: A group of women attending an event as part of the 1972 Twenty-First Annual Convention of the ADDC, held 7-9 September 1972, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In the foreground are two women facing away from the camera (one in a blue and white patterned top, the other in a pink top with a white collar). Seated at a long banquet table (white with yellow skirt) are seven visible women, and standing in front of the table is a lady in a red dress. Behind is a wall with gold-coloured plaster decorative bands, and five windows with closed white curtains and red drapes, as well as wall sconces. Hung on the wall is a large black and yellow banner reading "Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America". Format: Square, colour, with white border.
