Description

A corsage made from a small white plastic 'cowboy hat' and two fabric ribbons. Also attached is a clear plastic name badge with a paper slip inside. Hat The plastic hat is all white, with "CALGARY CANADA" printed in red san serif font on the top of the hat. On the back brim are two small brass-coloured metal eyelets. Ribbon There are two ribbons, one white and one red. Both are made of a lightly satin-like material, likely a polyester/synthetic. The bottom edges are crimped with a zig-zag shape. The top is secured to the hat with a silver-coloured staple through the front brim. Name badge The plastic sleeve is a simple flattened cylinder with open sides. Inside is a slip of paper of the same dimensions, reading "1972 REGION VII MEETING; LILLIAS M. FERGUSON; NEWMAN HATTERSLEY LTD; EDMONTON" in black typewritten text, along with "Enjoy Calgary...The Living West" printed in green serif font along the bottom. Preferation/cut marks are visible in black along the top and bottom edges. The badge is secured to the ribbon with a silver-coloured stamp through the back of the badge plastic and through both ribbons.
