Rectangular belt buckle with cut-out corners, branded to Alberta Perforators Inc.
Features: A rectangular (with cut-out corners) cast brass belt buckles, finished in antique-bronze. The buckle is ligthly curved.
Front Design: A rectangular belt buckle, with concave corner cut-outs, and a 4.5-5mm border around the edge. The recessed interior has a pitted texture. In the middle is the raised text "Alberta Perforators Inc." with the initial letters encompassed by the shape of the province of Alberta. After "Alberta" is a star-burst design, and in the lower-right is the raised imagery of ground, a truck, and a tower.
Back Elements: The back has a rough black finish, with bronze-finish on the hinge and hook. The hinge is an elongated hexagonal-shape, and the hook is slightly curved. Between them is the debossed text "SOLID BRASS" with an initial logo "BTS". Below is "MADE IN U.S.A.; © 1978 BI8".

Unknown residue along the top and right borders, causing the finish to appear tarnished/discoloured, and capturing a fingerprint in the bottom-right.
The back has unidentified residue on the back, resulting in a dull coating, and slightly obscuring the makers mark.Surface
Light to moderate scratches to front surface. Of note, a vertical scratch to the left of the bottom border; and a shaky horizontal scratch to the left-of-centre on the bottom border.
Light squiggly scratches to the the lower-right of the back.Materials
The tower in the front design is heavily pitted and darkened. With moderate pitting on the truck and ground.
White-blue spots of discolouration on the right of the hinge base (and to the upper-right of it). Possibly oxidisation.Mechanism
