Description

A rectangular belt buckle, featuring an oil industry scene, made by Siskiyou Buckle Co. Features: A rectangular, cast metal belt buckle, with indented, rounded corners, finished in antique-silver. Front Design: A silver border runs around the edge, with a recessed and smooth interior surface. The buckle features silver raised scenery of oil field machinery. At the centre, placed within an oval, is a pump jack. To the left is a derrick, and to the right are two oil field workers. Back Elements: The back displays a dotted texture surface and is bumpy. The hook has a three-leafed base with a thin, curved cylinder body. The hinge is a rounded trapezoid, and the hinge is attached at one point by a leafy/ floral texture. A thin rectangular plate at the top reads, "THE OIL INDUSTRY MOVES THE WORLD". A circular plate at the centre features a deer with text surrounding it, "SISKIYOU BUCKLE CO. INC". To the right of the circle is a small plate reading, "C-27". At the bottom left is a circular plate with an intricate design, and to the right is a rectangular plate reading, "© 1983 Siskiyou Buckle Co., Inc. WILLIAMS, OREGON".
