Description

Oval belt buckle, branded to Bronco Drilling Fluids Features: An oval, cast metal (likely brass or pewter) belt buckle, finished in antique-bronze colour. The buckle is flat. Front Design: A 4mm rigged border around the edge of the buckle, with blue block letters 'CS' outlined in gold. In the centre of the C is a blue, gold outlined maple leaf. At the top of the belt buckle is the text reading "CANADIAN" and at the bottom "SUPERIOR". Back Elements: The back has random scattered slash design. The hook has a bulbous end and the base looks like four small leaves. The hinge is an elongated trapezoid connected to the buckle at one point by a leaf texture. Between these elements is the makers mark: Solid Brass, Made in Canada, Makers symbol Old Description (Kelsey Dalrymple, 3 June 2020): Canadian Superior. Oval brass belt buckle with blue enamel text, maple leaf inside the C.

Front: slight discolouration overall. small dent/scratch on the bottom right side of the block letter 'S'. Around the border has small scratched and dents. Back: Slight discolouration overall. left side has diagonal scratch. Top of makers mark has small scratch. Has tiny amounts of adhesive glue and small scratched and dents on back of buckle.

Mechanism

Hinge is stiff but has full range of motion.
