I pocket-sized diary/planner for 1956, branded to The National Supply Company Limited. The National Supply Company Ltd. were manufacturers of oilfield rotary drilling and production equipment, as well as marine and rail equipment. They were based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with an office in Calgary, Alberta. It appears to have been in operation from at least the late 1930s through to the 1950s, though exact dates cannot be found. This pocket diary/planner has a navy-blue plastic cover with rounded outer corners and a leather-like texture. On the front cover is stamped in yellow-green ink the company's logo (circle with the text "THE NATIONAL SUPPLY COMPANY" around the inner curve and a crest with NSCO at the centre); "1956" in large text at the centre; and "THE NATIONAL SUPPLY COMPANY, LIMITED" in block text at the bottom.
