Scope and Content

A greeting card with a collaged butterfly, addressed to Lillias Ferguson. Description: On the front cover is an image of a collaged textile butterfly in yellow, orange, pink, and green, with the text "For Being So Nice" in a stylised font. The interior has a quote and message printed in black, and a handwritten message in blue ballpoint reading "Cody, Wyoming; September 13, 1972" in the top-left, and "Dody Desk & Derrick" in the bottom third with sign-offs by various members, including: Rosa Lee Underwood; Linda Reed; Nila Underluff; Linda Mideon; Connie Robinson; Camilla Daniels; Myrna Rodges; Pauline Dodge; and Maxine Lezler. Format: bi-fold Material: Medium-weight cardstock, colour print and blue ballpoint handwriting. This item is associated with Lillias Ferguson's involvement with the Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America in 1972. Part of a collection of objects scrapbooked in 1972 by Lillias Ferguson (2004.2.1).
