A large portrait-orientated photographic print of Leduc #1 with the fire flare and large black smoke cloud. Derrick is in the background, with a rise of dirt obscuring the view of the base and snow-covered grass in the foreground. To the right of the derrick is a large flare reaching slightly higher than the derrick, and to the right of that is a large black smoke cloud that takes up the right side of the image.
