Description

Foot-shaped belt buckle, branded to Christensen Drilling Products. Features: An foot-shaped cast metal (likely brass) belt buckle, finished in antique-bronze colour. The buckle is lightly curved. Front Design: A 3.5-5mm block border around the edge of the buckle, with a shallow raised-grain textured inside surface. Central to the design is the block text "Less Cost Per Foot". To the bottom-right is the Christensen logo ("Christensen text surrounded by a diamond border). Back Elements: The back has a dappled texture with a curved hook and a open rectangle hinge attached at two points. Above and below the hook are raised rectangle with the raised text "DYNABUCKLE" (top) and "PROVO UTAH" Old Description (Kelsey Dalrymple, 3 June 2020): Christensen. Less Cost Per Foot. Bronze belt buckle in the shape of a foot (Donated by Gordon McQuaig).

Cleanliness

On the back are two patches of clear adhesive residue, one large on the left, and a small patch on the right. On the front, inside the "P" is a packed accumulation of pale grainy residue.

Surface

Light to heavy scratching on the raised element of the front, notable a large, deep diagonal scratch in the bottom-left over the "P". General light to heavy wear on the front and back, particularly in the center front.

Mechanism

The hinge moves freely.
