Description

Set of three identical coasters, branded to Texaco. Features: A plastic rim with a metal center plate. The rim is a ring of plastic, with a 2mm depth and 5mm width on both sides. The top and base of the rim has two groove rings to texture the surface. Inside this rim is a metal surface, with a radial design is embossed in it (five lines at the top, five at the bottom, and a short line between). The top of the metal is gold-coloured and has a lightly brushed surface. The underside is white. At the center is printed the Texaco text logo (elongated hexagon with "TEXACO" written inside and a small Texaco star logo on the bottom point).

Cleanliness

White plastic has light discoloration around the edges from handling. The first coaster (2004.14.105.1) has a light-coloured residue around the edge of the inner surface. The second coaster (2004.14.105.2)has an unidentified brown residue on the upper-left of the inner surface.
