Rectangular belt buckle, branded to Caterpillar
Features: A rectangular, cast metal (likely brass) belt buckle with rounded corners, finished in antique-bronze. The buckle is lightly curved.
Front Design: A 3mm border around the edge, with the recessed interior surface having a slightly rough texture. In the centre of the buckle is raised imagery of a large backhoe tractor. Below the tractor at the bottom of the buckle is a small raised rectangle with raised text reading "CATERPILLAR" below that in the rectangle is smaller text reading " QUALITY PRODUCTS REG'D"
Back Elements: The back elements has a flat smooth surface, with a thin curved hook and rectangle shaped hinge attached at two points. In the centre of the belt buckle near the bottom is the makers mark reading "MACKENZIE TRADING CO. LTD. Edmonton Alberta, CANADA, Trademarks CATERPILLAR CAT and © Licensed by Caterpillar Tractor Co."

Front: The front of buckle has slight wear and small scratches along front side. Along the inside edge of the border and inside the crevasses of the backhoe tractor is a white residue.
Back: Two large vertical adhesive residue patches along the right side of the buckle on each side of the hook. The text at the bottom is slightly worn and hard to read. Along the left side of the buckle is some small scratches and colour discolouration.Created By
