Description

A medium-sized square photographic print, with a white border. The image is of TWO women, one handing the other a gift box. Description: Two ladies are standing, one standing at a wooden podium (partially hidden by a microphone), and the other on the opposite side of the panel table and podium. The first lady (in a green long-sleeves top, with a white ribbon and red corsage) is handing the second (white long-sleeves blouse and pale green long skirt) a wrapped gift box (mustard-yellow with black ribbon). Between the. on the table is a bouquet of white flowers, and assorted other items including a red toy tractor. On the front of the panel table is a black and yellow banner reading "DESK & DERRICK". Three other women are visible seated and standing behind the panel table. To the right-of-frame is the edge of an American flag. On the reverse is written "19" in black marker, top-left corner. In the bottom-left corner is written "4-19; Lillias" in red ballpoint. Information on women comes from an accompanying letter (2004.3.230.1). Taken during a 1972 Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America meeting, likely the Region VII annual meeting in Calgary (26-28 May 1972). Format: Square, colour, with white border.
