Description

A large landscape-orientated photographic print of the Devon townsite during construction, taken October 1948. Shows a collection of small constructed buildings, building materials, and some small trucks. On the reverse of the print is a stamp from "IMPERIAL OIL ARCHIVES" with the handwritten blue ballpoint text "A542; Neg 80-0064/011 (42)". Additionally, "80-0064/011" is written in pencil in the top-right corner; "11; Leduc/Devon Oilfield Historical Society" in pencil in bottom-right corner; and "DEVON TOWNSITE; OCTOBER 1948" in blue ballpoint on the bottom-centre.
