Description

A brown pleather pouch containing a conversion slide chart, a worksheet, a drilling fluids formula card, a bit sizes and clearance card, a pump performance chart booklet, and two handwritten notes. The pouch is branded to Reed Rock Bit Company. The pouch is thin, with two pockets and white text. The front displays a large circular sticker branded to Esso. Rd text reads, "ZERO", followed by blue text reading, "RECORDABLE INJURY CONCEPT", and then followed by red text, "COLD LAKE". The sticker has a white background and is outlined in blue. The back of the pouch is horizontal with gold text reading, "REED ROCK BIT COMPANY METRIC HYDRAULIC CALCULATOR". The slide chart is medium-sized, easy to hold, with two sides of conversions. It is grey in colour with black, green and red text. On one side, the text reads, "REED HYDRAULIC SLIDE RULE". On the same side, it displays six different rulers for conversions. The other side displays four different conversions. The rectangular piece held within the chart is a thick card material, white with black text, and displays multiple measurement numbers. This piece is meant to be moved in order to convert different measurements. The plastic slider appears to be broken. The worksheet is cream in colour with black and red text. Notably, handwriting is displayed at the top in a black pen. Additionally, the pouch contains a white booklet with black text and is titled, "PUMP PERFORMANCE CHARTS". There are also two cards: one is larger, trifolded, and displays information on drilling fluid formulas, while the other is smaller, not folded, and displays information on A.P.I Casing Data–Bit Sizes and Clearances. Two small rectangular pieces of paper are kept within the pouch. The first displays handwriting in black pen with what appears to be names and phone numbers. The second note has a blue grid with handwriting in blue pen of a name.
