An elegantly bound printed programme for the Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America's Fourth Annual Convention, held 2-3 September 1955, at the Hotel Commodore in New York. Description: A decoratively bound event programme for the Fourth Annual Convention of the Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America. The cover is a sheet of bi-folded textures cream cardboard with black print and a square of embossed gold foil in the upper-right corner of both the front and back covers, as well as roughly finished outer edged. The front cover text reads: "DESK AND DERRICK" in the centre, and "Fourth Annual Convention; Hotel Commodore, New York; September 2-3, 1955". The back cover text reads: ""EXTENDED HORIZONS"". The internal pages are white with black print. The booklet is bound with a length of twisted black and gold-coloured cording, looped around the pages, and tied off at the base, with a length ending in a tassel. The booklet contains a welcome message from Sybil Sureck (Association President); event programme; list of Board Members; list of Convention Committee members; American and Canadian National Anthems; and a list of appreciation and contributors.
