A large black and white photographic print, featuring a large group of well-dressed men (TWENTY-FIVE) in long winter coats and hats, facing the camera; with another crowd in the midground facing away from the camera towards the ledic #1 rig (of note: a group of three men standing on a small dirt pile to the left of the image; two men in black coats standing slightly higher than the rest to the left at the base of Leduc #1; and three workers standing on a raised platform to the right of Leduc #1's base). Between the two groups are parked SIX cars and TWO trucks. Behind both groups is the base of the Leduc #1 rig. The ground is covered in snow/ice, and in the background is snow/ice covered field and lines of trees.
The print is mounted within a grey matte frame, and handwritten in black ink on the bottom of the frame is "LEDUC #1 FEB. 13, 1947". On the reverse of the frame is a studio stamp reading "THIS PHOTOGRAPH IS COPYRIGHTED; Permission to use in any publication must be secured and full credit appear under picture.; H.
