Description

A medium-sized square photographic print, with a white border. The image is of FIVE women posing facing the camera. Description: The heads and torsos of five ladies who are identified as Dorothy Whitely (purple and pink floral print blouse), Marj Reed (white brimmed hat with snoopy on top, and grey-blue top), Evelyn Doolean (pale pink blouse with decorative collar and sleeves, with grey and white zigzag-patterned vest), Beatrice McIvor (pink and grey patterned top with white-red hat corsage/brooch (2004.2.206), from Calgary), and Geraldine Snead (brown, pink, and white swirl-pattern blouse). All but Beatrice McIvor appear to be Winnipeg members of the ADDC. Behind the ladies is a wallpapered wall in a brown-red floral lozenge pattern. On the reverse is written "#1" in black marker, top-left corner. In the bottom-left corner is written "2-8; Lillias" in red ballpoint. Information on women comes from an accompanying letter (2004.3.230.1). Taken during a 1972 Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America meeting, likely the Region VII annual meeting in Calgary (26-28 May 1972). Format: Square, colour, with white border. Print Finish: Gloss Part of a collection of objects scrapbooked in 1972 by Lillias Ferguson (2004.2.1).
