Description

Enamel lapel pin, featuring imagery of Massey-Harris No.21 Self-Propelled Combine. Pin shaped and styled to a postage stamp. Features: Gold-metal base lapel pin, coloured with enamel. Styled like a postal stamp, with crimped/scalloped edge. Design has a white (top) and turquoise (bottom) base colour, with the side-view of a Massey-Harris No.21 Self-Propelled Combine, coloured in maroon-red and black. Above the image is "CANADA" at the top of the design, and to the right-side "1942". Below the design is the text: "MASSEY-HARRIS NO.21 SELF-PROPELLED COMBINE; 88; DE MASSEY-HARRIS MOISSONNEUSE-BATTEUSE AUTOMOTRICE". Donated as part of an unofficial package along with another pin from the same series (Robin Nodwell RN 110 Tracked Carrier, 1962) and a loose version of a Hockey Dollar coin (12 Dave Hunter/Edmonton Oilers, 1983). Labeling on the packaging suggests the pins were produced by Canada Post. Similar packages can be found on Liveauctionworld.com.
