Scope and Content

A place card (styled like a greeting card) made out to Lillias M. Ferguson. Handmade with handwritten (in black ink) text reading "Lillias Ferguson; REGION VII TARTAN BANQUET; "AN ALBERTA ADVENTURE"". The card base is a mustard-yellow textured cardstock, at the centre of the cover of which is adhered a white rectangle of paper, onto which is adheres a strip of multi-coloured tartan fabric with zig-zag cut edges. Behind the tartan fabric is a simple outline of Alberta. The interior is blank. Format: Bi-fold Material: Medium-weight cardstock, Mustard-yellow with white paper stock, black ink writing. This item is associated with Lillias Ferguson's attendance at the 1972 Desk and Derrick Club's Alberta Tartan Banquet (Calgary, Alberta), 27 May 1972. Part of a collection of objects scrapbooked in 1972 by Lillias Ferguson (2004.2.1).
