A gold-coloured letter opener, branded to Tri-City Drilling (1968) Ltd. Features: Long, narrow, double-edged blade. The handle is solid gold-coloured metal with a solid braided wire rope with a ball on each end. The wire is shaped to fit around the border of the top face of the handle. At the end of the handle is a small etched logo branded to Tri-City Drilling (1968) Ltd. The logo features stylized text, "Tri-City" with the tail of the "y" creating a slanted rectangle displaying text, "DRILLING 1968 LTD." An oil derrick is layered underneath the "T" in "Tri-City". The bottom face of the letter opener is blank, and the blade is flat. The letter opener is kept within a black cardboard box with a moulded velvet interior. A rectangular piece of paper featuring a white background and black text is placed inside the box. The top left of the paper features a small crest that is split diagonally into two colours; black and red, with the gold side featuring white text, "T G" and the white side with gold text, "A A". Next to the crest is black text reading, "The Germna Advertising Advantage Inc." The paper also contains information on the address, phone number and fax.Collection
