Rectangular belt buckle, branded to Baroid.
Features: A rectangular, cast metal (likely brass) belt buckle with rounded corners. Finished in antique-bronze. The buckle is lightly curved.
Front Design: A 2mm border around the edge, with the recessed interior surface having a scattered raised dot texture. Across the centre (touching the right and left sides) is a tri-circle design. The centre circle has a double ring border, with the block text "BAROID" across the middle, and an oil rig design in the background A 'Registered' symbol (®) can be seen in the base of the oil rig design. Behind and to either side are additional circles (a crescent shape is visible) with lightly raised globe designs (left is the American continent, right is the African continent and part of Europe). A broad 3mm border runs around the tri-circle design.
Back Elements: The back is plain, without any maker's marks or texture. The hook is curved and tapered, and the hinge is a rectangular clover shape (elongated rectangle with a divet in the center of the outer edge).

On the back are two patches of adhesive residue. A vertical band along the left side, and a rectangular area between the hinge and hook. The residue is yellow and dry.Surface
The front raised surfaces show signs of wear and scratching, with some of the finish chipped/worn off causing a difference in colour and texture.
The back surface is light to moderately scratched throughout.Mechanism
