Description

The notepad-like booklet is a small compendium of profiles for individuals involved in the 1968 Oilmen's Golf Tournament. Includes names, profile photography, home address, and company affiliation. Features: The small pocket-sized booklet is in the style of a notepad, with a top binding. The wrap-around hard-card cover has a lightly textures faux-leather finish, and is secured with two silver-coloured screws. On the front of the cover, in green ink is a stylised "18" with the "1" as a stylised flagstick and the "8" made on two stacked circles. Below this the text "COMPLIMENTS OF THE OILMEN'S EIGHTEENTH ANNUAL OILMEN'S GOLF TOURNAMENT, 1968, Jasper, Alberta. The title page contains a list of organisers and people of note, including the Board of Governors, Executive Committee, and sub-committees. The body of the booklet is them comprised of pages with four quadrants, each containing the profile of an individual or married couple. Profiles include their name (both husband and wife); a greyscale photograph each of the husband and wife (or if not applicable, just the male with a crest for the Oilmen's Tournament in place of a wife); the home address of the couple/individual; and the husband's affiliated company name and address. The booklet has roughly 85 pages, single-side printed in black ink. A blank page with the divided quadrants is left at the end to allow for addtitions after printing.

Cleanliness

The front and back covers are covered is a moderate to heavy grime residue from handling, some fingerprints are present in the grime. A small line of blue ballpoint ink in the middle of the spine

Materials

Some denting in the cover card, notably on the lower back cover. Likely imprints when resting against another of the same booklets, as the shape matches the top of the screws used.
