Oval belt buckle, branded to Alberta Governor Service Ltd. (Edmonton, Alberta).
Features: An oval, cast metal (likely brass) belt buckle, finished in antique-bronze. The buckle is lightly curved.
Front Design: An oval belt buckle, with a 2.5-3mm border around the edge. The recessed interior surface has a scattered hash texture. At the top, curved to follow the buckle shape is the text "ALBERTA GOVERNOR SERVICE LTD." and curved along the bottom is "EDMONTON, ALBERTA". At the centre is the silhouette of a centrifugal governor/fly-ball, which appears in the company's branding and logo.
Back Elements: The back has a star-burst line texture, with an elongated hexagonal-shaped hinge, and a decorative, 4-point hook. Between these is a small raised rectangular plate with the debossed test "AT (stylised logo); MADE IN CANADA".

There is adhesive residue on the back, to the bottom-left of the hook. There are also spots of what appears to be more adhesive residue with paper fibers, along the top of the back.
An unknown residue is also present on the front, on the centre-left of the fly-ball image. This may also be some sort of adhesive residue, and is raised from the metal surface.Surface
There is small to medium denting across the front surface. Heavy denting can bee seen in on the centre-left of the fly-ball, in the same area as the above mentioned residue.
There is also wear around the edges of the buckle and the fly-ball image, wearing through the finish to expose and silver-colour underneath.
An identifiable long, vertical-diagonal scratch can also be seen to the left of the hinge, on the back. This scratching extends from top to bottom, with a slight break in the line towards the bottom. Another can be seen in the top-right of the back, this one a horizontal-diagonal scratch.Created By
