A medium-sized square photographic print, with a white border. The image is of Iris Becay seated on a bed.
Description: Seated on a bed is Iris Becay (ADDC Denver Vice-President) dressed in a white with blue ribbon, long-sleeved cotton eyelet-lace dress and white strapped high-heel shoes. She is sitting with her legs crossed at the hands and arms resting on her lap. The bed is a twin with an orange fitted coverlet and brown valance skirt. The headboard is dark wood. In the left-of-frame are two brown chairs; a small wooden side table with a white rotary telephone, orange table lamp, and various paper items; and red and white floral patterned drapes. The floor is carpeted in brown-red, and the walls are white with a framed picture above the bed. To the right-of-frame is the edge of a second orange bed and a wooden side table.
On the reverse is written "10" in black marker, top-left corner. In the bottom-left corner is written "4-9; Lillias" in red ballpoint.
Information on women comes from an accompanying letter (2004.3.230.1). Included is a note reading "Iris Becay, Denver's First Vice-President as of July 1 because of resignation of Lynda Cox who moved to Connecticut. Iris WAS out elected Second Vice-President."
Taken during a 1972 Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America meeting, likely the Region VII annual meeting in Calgary (26-28 May 1972).
