Description

A white disposable tissue-paper napkin, branded to Shelter Island's Bali Hai Aloha Club, Point Loma, San Diego (California). The printed design appears on one panel, and is of 'Polynesian Pop' style 'tribal'/tiki borders, with handwritten style type and an illustration of a tiki-style carving. This item originally (in it's scrapbooked form) was stored folded within the Signal Oil and Gas Company plastic bag (2004.2.157). Associated with Lillias Ferguson's travels during the 1971 Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America's 20th Annual Convention in San Diego. Format: Quarter Fold Material: Medium-thickness textured paper napkin, White with brown and yellow print. Part of a collection of objects scrapbooked in 1972 by Lillias Ferguson (2004.2.1).
