A colour print postcard for Anchorage, Alaska; made out to Lillias M. Ferguson.
Front: A colour aerial image of Anchorage, Alaska. The view is looking west down a street, showing buildings and cars, with water visible in the background. Along the bottom is a white band with the printed text "Anchorage, Alaska, Looking West" and "Photo by Mel Anderson).
Reverse: Printed in black ink is a brand logo for "Alaska Joe" Original in the centre-top, with a small character of a person in heavy snowwear. Below, at a 90-degree clockwise rotation, and acting as a divider down the centre of the card, is the text "ALASKA SCENIC P. C. BOX 1466, ANCHORAGE, ALASKA, 99501" ending in another logo for Plastichrome Boston and the text "C-ANCH-7". Also printed along the bottom-right is "Downtown Anchorage. An All-American City". In blue ballpoint is handwritten: "Dear Lillias, Just arrived Anchorage. Picture on card is Cook Inlet. Your Regional Meeting was the best and you did a terrific job. Am truely looking forward to [July?]. Haf 2 beautiful days in Banff with sunshine - a little early for the blue blue lakes. Emerald Lake was only one without ice. Having a wonderful trip. See you in Sapt. Fondly Rae", as well as the address to "Miss Lillias Ferguson" in Edmonton, Alberta. In the top-left is a red 9c postage stamp over which is a black processing stamp, and a light-blue rubber stamp dated "JUN 5 1972".
