Description

A colour print postcard of Denver, Colorado; unused. Front: A colour aerial image of Denver, Colorado. Visible are single and multi-storey buildings in the fore- and midground, with some trees in the foreground. In the background are fewer buildings with more trees, and on the horizon is a ridge of low hills/mountains against lightly-clouded blue sky. Along the bottom of the card is a white band with the black text " Aerial View of Denver, Colo." on the left side. Reverse: Unused. Printed in black is a text divider (90-degree clockwise rotation) reading "Distributed by G. R. Dickson Co. — 932 Inca St., Denver, Colo." followed by a logo from Plastichrome by Colourficture (Boston, Mass.) at the centre-bottom; and the text "ADDRESS" in the upper-right, and a dot-border space for a stamp with code "P89093". Material: Medium-weight cardstock, Colour print (front)/ black print (reverse). This item is associated with Lillias Ferguson's involvement with the Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America in 1972.
