Description

A landscape greeting card, with a printed welcome to the "Old California" Party, 26 August, 1971. The front cover features an illustration of a Spanish-colonial-style building and the text "Old California". The interior reads: "The Long Beach Club; Welcomes You; to the; "Old California" Party; Music by; Oscar Amezcua Mariachis; Guadalajara, Mexico; August 26, 1971; 8:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.; Barcelona Room". This item originally (in it's scrapbooked form) was stored within the Signal Oil and Gas Company plastic bag (2004.2.157). Associated with Lillias Ferguson's attendance at the 1971 Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America's 20th Annual Convention in San Diego. Format: Bi-fold Material: Light-weight cardstock, Yellow-orange textured, orange-red print. Part of a collection of objects scrapbooked in 1972 by Lillias Ferguson (2004.2.1).
