Description

An oversized black and white (gloss) aerial photograph of Devon, dated to 1948. The print appears to be a copy taken from another print, possibly an enlargement from a postcard (based on the text at the bottom of the print, reading "DEVON~ALBERTA; ~AIRVIEW PHOTOS~; '48"). On the reverse, in the top-left corner is written "Mark Blain Jr." (black ink) and "Box 411; Devon Alta; T0C 1E0" (pencil); and in the bottom-left corner is written in pencil "1948; Devon, Alta". The colours are irregular in the print, possibly the result of the scanned print being damaged, though this cannot be confirmed.
