A black and white photograph of a field during a blowout (likely Atlantic #3 Blowout), featuring an area of muddy ground that takes up the middle and bottom of the image. To the left-of-centre are two large mud bubbles, and to the right-of-centre is a third large mud bubble. In the right of the background is visible a derrick. On the reverse in blue ballpoint is written "FROM W.I. COLLECTION; F. ALMOND", and in pencil "Atlantic #3?". The photo is not dated, but if this is indeed the Atlantic #3 blowout, then it is likely dated to between 8 March and 6 September, 1948.Collection
