A rectangular belt buckle Branded to Border Drilling Co.LTD
Features: A rectangular cast brass belt buckle with a slight convex curve.
Front Design: A man who appears to be a roughneck is featured working on what appears to be a drill bit on an oil derrick. Detail were made in a recessed design, dropping down into the buckle structure where the shadows would be. To the right of the worker, the is a rectangular recessed section with a random crosshatch design. It contains the text, "BORDER DRILLING CO. LTD." in a stencil style font popping out of the recess. On the bottom right of the buckle is the town name of LLOYDMINSTER" A town in Alberta.
Back Elements: Back has a design with purposeful gouges in a random pattern. In the middle is a raised rectangle with text engraved into it. at the top of the rectangle is the word "CAT" in a cartoon font with the letters unaligned, likely a makers mark. Bottom of the rectangle says "MADE IN CANADA".
Hook has a rounded flat top and has four leaf decals surrounding the base. Hinge is an irregular hexagon that is held to the buckle with a leaf decal base.Collection

Back of the buckle has several patches of adhesive residue that is still tacky to the touch. The biggest patches are to the left of the hinge, mid-top of the buckle and coating the bottom portion of the hinge bar.
