Description
The small toy truck is made from die-cast metal and plastic. The cab and truck bed are red metal and the running board/undercarriage is navy-blue metal. The windscreen is clear plastic, and the driver and passenger doors have partially up windows with the top section open. The truck is branded to Texaco. The driver and passenger doors have the white text "THE TEXAS COMPANY" with a round star logo (white "T", inside a red star, inside a white circle. Around the white circle is a band of blue with the following white text "THE TEXAS COMPANY; PETROLEUM PRODUCTS") underneath. The same round star logo also appears on the tailgate. Behind the cab roof is a raised section with the white text "TEXACO". On either side of the blue cover in the truck bed, is the white text "TEXACO MOTOR OIL". The aforementioned blue cover is made from moulded plastic, is lightly textured like canvas, and the top-back edge is shaped like rolled-up canvas. The cover slots inside the truck bed sides and can be removed. The plastic elements include the aforementioned truck bed cover (navy-blue), a front bumper (silver), the front grill and headlights (silver), steering when and bench seat (black), and the wheel spokes (red with silver hubs). The tires are a black rubber. In addition to the four wheels, there is a spare tire on the front-left mudguard/running board.
